We grow our tobacco in Manica Province, source our wrappers from Cameroon, roll the cigars in Mozambique and age them in cedar from Ghana. It doesn’t get more African than this.

  My wife bought me some Bongani cigars recently and I must say, I’m very impressed with the quality! The draw is smooth and easy & the flavor is excellent.  You know it’s a good find when you’re proud to share them with all your friends & family.  We love Africa, especially Malawi which is vey close to Mozambique, so naturally it’s fun to tell my friends I’ve found a premium all African cigar which often leads to sharing more about why we are happy to support Malawians in “The Warm Heart Of Africa”.  My only complaint is that my wife has smoked & shared so many of my Bongani cigars that we will need to reload the humidor soon! My father-in-law(pictured w my wife in this post) said  it’s the best cigar he’s ever smoked! To be fair I’ve also been sharing them with my golf buddies here in Arizona! Here’s to hoping my wife reloads the humidor with Bongani very soon!

  Distinct! Delightful! Delicious! Truly a work of art! The very unique spicy notes of pepper that compliments this exquisite cigar, makes one crave for more.

Being from South Africa, I just had to taste what my neighbours from Mozambique had to offer. I am impressed indeed! Having enjoyed cigars from around the world, I find the Bongani to be a formidable competitor against some of the well known main stream Cuban Classic Habanos.

I’ll definitely stockpile my humidor with more BONGANI CIGARS.

  Cameroon wrapper is smooth and elegant. Dry draw is very earthy.  The opening draw is sooo smooth! This is a mellow cigar!!! 1st two-thirds smooth. Last third, I can feel the peppery burn in the retrohale. Well constructed cigar. It is very enjoyable smoke.

  These are very good cigars, smooth as silk smoke.  They rival cigars that are extremely hard to get stogies in the States.   And also some of the most premium cigars I've had. I would highly recommend these cigars to any aficionados.

  Dry draw, light cardboard notes, wrapper is sweeta and tangy in the tongue. Construction is A+!  Nosing the foot is a mild baryard aroma.  Good earthy flavor upon lighting and into 1st third. Immediate thought is that some aging in the humidor would allow the blending of flavors a bit better as there's just the smallest amount of bitterness in the draw.  Smoke billows beautifully and easy to retrohail without nose burn.  2nd third noticeable decrease in bitterness.  Flavors overall are mellow and smooth and not a lot of complexity. Mild strength and burn is great.  Burns a little crooked but not uneven and have not had to religt or touch it up.  Double-oak whiskey certainly brings out some other notes. Turns the "green" flavor more "brown" on the tongue. Beer didn't work to help it but I would think coffee would.  Final 3rd much of the same. I would buy them again.
